Scotland Excel framework for new build construction

Scotland Excel is going to make a framework for new build construction of residential developments. It is anticipated that the majority of schemes under the Framework Contract will comprise of social rented properties, although Councils may utilise the framework for other tenures, mixed tenure and any other residential schemes with particular requirements (e.g. care homes, supported living accommodation, student accommodation, temporary accommodation). We are looking to appoint around 5 contractors onto a framework for the provision of Plaster and Plasterboard Repairs to Council Properties. The Framework Agreement will cover a 2-year period with the option to extend for two further periods of one year. The Framework Agreement is expected to commence Autumn 2018. Whilst there is no guarantee as to the volume of business, the historical value of this work has been approximately £250,000.00 per annum.
